AI Dashcam

A road-facing camera that records the drive and saves the moments that matter: harsh braking, collisions and risky events, linked to the vehicle's GPS position and speed.

What it does

  • Continuous road-facing recording
  • Event clips saved on harsh driving or impact
  • Video linked to location, speed and time
  • In-cab audio alerts on supported models
  • Remote clip retrieval over the mobile network
  • Local storage on a memory card

Why it matters

  • Clear evidence after incidents
  • Faster insurance and dispute handling
  • Real footage for driver coaching
  • Protection for drivers against false claims

How it works

The camera records continuously to local storage. When the device detects an event, it tags a short clip with GPS data and can upload it to the platform for review.

Good to know

AI functions such as distraction or tailgating alerts are available only on models that support them, so the model is chosen to match what you need to detect.

Common question

Does it record when the vehicle is parked? Some models offer parking mode with limits to protect the battery; it depends on the camera and how it is wired.

Which dash cam fits your fleet?

Cameras differ in the number of channels, how they store video and which alerts they give. These models come from our actual catalogue:

JIMI JC400

4G dual-channel dash camera with live streaming and built-in GPS.

JIMI JC200

Camera and tracker in one, with cloud recording and remote playback.

HERO-ME V8

Dual-lens recorder for road and cabin with ADAS alerts and night vision.

HERO-MC30-01(H)

1080P front camera with ADAS alerts, 4G, GPS and Wi-Fi, plus an input for an extra camera.

HERO-MC30-02(H)

Two 1080P cameras with ADAS alerts, driver monitoring (DMS), 4G and GPS.

HERO-MC30-02 S

Small two-channel dash cam for road and cab, with 4G, positioning and up to 512 GB of storage.

Dash cam or MDVR?

A dash cam is a single unit with one or two cameras, for the road and sometimes the cabin, and suits cars and light trucks. An MDVR is a multi-channel recorder with several cameras around the vehicle, suited to buses and large trucks that need more than one view.

What to decide before you choose

  • Do you need a road camera only, or road and cabin together?
  • Do you want live viewing over 4G, or is saving and reviewing event clips enough?
  • Do you need driver alerts such as ADAS or fatigue and distraction monitoring? These are only on supporting models.
  • Do you want recording while parked? Some models offer a parking mode with limits that protect the battery.

Frequently asked about dash cams

Can I watch the camera live?

Yes, on models that stream live over 4G such as the JIMI JC400. On others, event clips are saved and can be retrieved remotely.

Where is the video stored?

The camera records continuously to its memory card; when it detects an event it saves a short clip with GPS data and can upload it to the platform for review.

Does the camera alert the driver?

Supporting models give audio alerts in the cabin, such as the ADAS warnings on the HERO-ME V8 and HERO-MC30-01(H).

Does it record while the vehicle is parked?

Some models offer a parking mode with limits that protect the battery; it depends on the camera and how it is wired.

Does the camera record inside the cabin?

Dual-lens models record the road and the cabin together, such as the HERO-ME V8 and HERO-MC30-02(H).
