Amancom runs the company on Odoo: 43 custom modules in production on Odoo 19, written for the tracking platforms we work on, our own field work, the call centre and customer messaging. The installation we show here is the one we use every day.

Every platform we run, driven from one place

Integration: eight tracking platforms, video as well as GPS, plus the 3CX PBX and Paymob card payments, are all driven from inside Odoo, so device work, calls and payments sit against the same customer in one system.

  • Move a device from stock to a customer on the tracking platform without leaving Odoo
  • Activate or block a device on FMS, and extend expiry dates on FMS, iTrack, ProTrack, Etrack and TrackSolid, from inside Odoo
  • Swap a stock IMEI onto a customer's device when the hardware is replaced
  • Send GPRS or SMS commands, and read live position and track history, from inside Odoo

The work runs on records

Operations: work orders, technician attendance, van stock, dispatch by city and the interactive customer map all run as Odoo records, not as spreadsheets beside it.

  • Work orders hold the vehicle, the device and the SIM as fields, not as free text
  • Confirmed sale orders dispatched by city and area, with the trips, drivers and vehicles behind them
  • Attendance for office, remote and field staff checked against several factors and scored for confidence
  • Shifts, documents, compliance and capability flags kept per technician

The system tells you first

Notifications: WhatsApp, four SMS gateways, email and VIP alarm alerts all go out from Odoo, and WhatsApp and SMS replies come back into the same conversation.

  • A WhatsApp conversation turned into a helpdesk ticket with a stage, an owner and a response target
  • Invoices sent by SMS or email, each carrying the customer's own invoice link
  • One email a day to the administrator: every ticket open past 24 hours and every customer still waiting for a call back
  • WhatsApp on Meta's official Business Cloud API: approved templates, the 24-hour reply window, delivery status recorded in Odoo

Frequently asked about vehicle tracking in Egypt

How much does a car GPS tracker cost in Egypt?

Pricing is mixed: you pay for the device and installation once, then a monthly subscription per vehicle for the platform. The price depends on the device, sensors and number of vehicles; details are on the pricing page.

Can I pay for the tracker in instalments?

Yes. Devices and installation can be paid monthly through Fawry, valU, Souhoola, Aman or Blnk, with the platform subscription paid monthly.

How long does installing a car tracker take?

A tracker for a private car is installed in under an hour, and you then follow your car from the app on your phone.

Will the system call me when a violation happens?

Yes. When a rule you set is broken, such as speeding or leaving a geofence, the AI monitor calls you and sends a WhatsApp message to the supervisor.

Can tracking connect to Odoo and accounting?

Yes. We connect fleet data to Odoo ERP so fuel and trip costs reach accounting without manual entry.
